Our realtor introduced us to El Corte Ingles, a department store and a museum nearby. On Sunday after 2pm, the museum admission is free, so we went to explore around there.

Took Red Line to St. Sebastiao and got off the exit to El Corte Ingles
Supermercado sells good quality food, the realtor recommends

We chose Cafetaria among various other restaurants.
It seems upscaled but still reasonable.
Super Bock Original (beer 1.65 euro) for him, a glass of white wine (3.40 euro) for me
Salmon Salad (9.60 euro) for me
He ordered Lasagna ($7.90) but got a wrong stuff, probably Bacalhau Gratin. Since it tastes good, he kept eating…
My salad was very refreshing and perfect with the crisp white wine.
Total cost. I paid with my US credit card. It worked.
This pastelaria looks amazing!
I will be back for these next time.
Pasteis de Nata are smaller and more expensive here. I want to try every nata and find my true favorite!
Museu Calouste Gulbenkian, It’s free after 2pm on Sundays, but you still need to get a ticket to go in.
