Now we set our regular schedule as below.
Sleep: 9pm-3 or 4am, Office Hours: 4 or 5am-Noon, Breakfast: 5am, Second Breakfast: 8-9am, Lunch: Noon-1pm, Dinner: 5-6pm
We realize that it would be like going out every night if we went out every afternoon since our office hours are early morning to noon.
So we intentionally stayed home all this afternoon.

As we report that it doesn’t drain well in the shower, the owner came over this afternoon to try to fix it, but he was not able to. He promised to come back tomorrow morning with a solution.
Before he took off, I asked him about Portuguese’ eating habit or customs.
Then he explains that they traditionally eat five time a day.
- pequeno almoço (breakfast) – 7-8am
- almoço (lunch) – noon-2pm
- lanche (snack) – 4-5pm
- jantar (dinner) – 8-9pm
- ceia (late night meal) – 10pm or later
He added the diet trend has changes to healthier nowadays. Also, he mentions that Portuguese love talking about food. That’s wonderful! I love it too!!!
Then he kept talking about fish, seafood, seasonal food and wines in Portugal…
I tried as many Portuguese words as I can. He was happy to hear that.
He made my day more exciting!
