Bacalhau, salted dried cod is one of the most important ingredients to Portuguese cuisine. I have made a few of popular Bacalhau dishes including Bacalhau com Natas and Pasteis de Bacalhau. Today I tried to make another famous one, Bacalhau à Brás.Lunch @ 12:45 p.m. Basically it’s to stir fry onion, garlic, desalted & cooked bacalhau, stripped potatoes and egg all together. It came out very good. Since it’s so easy that I would cook again soon. I forgot to add olives at last. Shoot!We had cold soba as well.

I love its floral aroma and refreshing lemony acidity. I am going to try other Encruzado too.
