We walked toward/around Alfama, one of oldest neighborhoods in Lisbon. The garden with a viewpoint, we wanted to go was still closed and a staff said it would be reopened on Monday.
Unexpectedly we were in front of our favorite bifana place. Why not enjoying one!? It’s been a long time since we had it in December 2019. Bifana is a Portuguese pork sandwich with mustard and piripiri (hot sauce). It is like a soul food and goes really well with beer. Usually help yourself to add mustard and piripiri as you like when dining in but this time they just asked and added in the kitchen. It was a lot more than I usually do and so hot!!! I mean it was the best. Locals know how to enjoy it best. Bifana 2.50€ x 2, Beer 1€ @ 11:30 a.m.
