My plan was to explore two neighborhoods, Campo de Ourique and Ajuda by myself in the morning. I left home before 9:30 a.m. and took the famous 28 tram, which was a mistake. Tram consistently got interrupted as some obstacles on the street, mostly parked car or truck. Since trams run on the rail, it can’t make a quick carve or anything, so has to clear if a car parked on its way even a bit. Every time the tram “took a break” there was a traffic jam behind, but no one honked. How come they are so patient!? Or it’s just normal to happen every day in Lisbon?
My most interest in Campo de Ourique was the market, but it was kind of disappointing. It is much smaller than I thought and a lot of stands were not opened in the food court. However, there are so many cool stores and restaurants outside the market. I had croissant brunch @ Os Croissants. I had to feed him for lunch and I spent more time on the tram, I decided to explore Ajuda next time.
Lunch: Gyoza, Pad Thai @ 1:00 p.m.
We went to take a walk around Bela Vista for the first time and had snack @ McDonald’s in the afternoon.
