Chirashi Take Away Lunch

In Portugal, the situation of covid-19 has been bad…unfortunately. More new cases than the beginning of pandemic when Portugal controlled it very well. I think that 2 or 3 waves possibly got bigger because we have less infected people from 1st wave. Anyway, the government decided to implement more restrictions starting tomorrow, so I went to get a to-go Chirashi (sushi) for lunch. It seemed that nothing has changed in city just calm and lovely as usual.

Chirashi lunch including miso soup & salad from Aron Sushi (16.50€) + Portuguese rose wine

Tuna, ebi, tai, salmon, toro, tako, aji, katsuo, tamago…so delicious.

Squid aemono was good too.

We went for lunch to one of our favorites in the neighborhood before more strict restrictions staring this Friday. Hope all local businesses will survive…

A Cozinha Caseira Take Away Lunch

Picked up the complete lunch including soup, main, side as you like and dessert @ Maxi-Serve (6.75€/person)

Lunch @ 12:45 p.m. Mine: Bifinhos de porco com molho de cogumelos (pork with mushroom sauce) with salad, fries and rice, His: Frango assado com molho de coentros (Baked chicken with cilantro sauce) with the same side. It tastes just like home cooked meals. Can’t beat the price too.

We shared a soup and a dessert because it’s so much to fill. This is Doce de Oreo and we still have the leftover of Vegetable soup and Doce da Casa (another dessert).

It’s Dia de Reis (Kings’ Day) today to eat a Bolo Rei or Bolo Rainha…I assume.

Light lunch: Strawberries, cheese, ham, fried chicken, cabbage, vinho verde @ 12:40 p.m.

Tasting the bolo rainha @ 1:10 p.m. It’s very good. Now I want to try various bolo rei/rainha from different shops.

There is a Burger King near the park and we wanted to have lunch there, but it’s only open for delivery services because of the restrictions for covid-19…

1.25 KG T-Bone Steak @ Ofício

Our holiday season tradition, a nice lunch instead of dinner

Steak lunch @ Ofício Restaurante. The steak was perfectly cooked and so tender. First we thought it would be too big but it was gone so quickly with no heartburn or anything. I loved tacos and dessert too.

Pork Leg Tacos 8.50€

1.25KG T-Bone Steak medium rare with roasted vegetables 88.75€

White Chocolate Raja & Forest Fruits 6.50€

Bolo Rei (19.95€) from Confeitaria Nacional. I wished I were able to get it in the prettier can, but it tastes delicious anyway.
