Home, Sweet & Coffee

Fonte Luminosa & Queijada de Laranja

Again I woke up around mid-night and couldn’t go back to sleep. I was laying down in bed till 3am when he got up. Since he is a shallow sleeper, I didn’t want to distract his sleep by making noises.

We had light breakfast together around 3:30am.

After I worked a bit, I felt tired and went back to bed around 6am and slept till 9am.

I served him this breakfast @ 9:10am and I had myself @ 10am.

I went out for a walk by myself in the neighborhood while he practiced yoga after work. Lunch was chicken soup from last night @ noon.

Then we walked to Alameda area to explore in the afternoon.

Various food cars are in the park. By the way, it was All Saints’ Day (holiday) today. I was wondering all cafes and restaurants were open. I would say 90% in the area was open.

Fonte Luminosa (Lighted fountain). Sadly there was no water…

When walking back home, we stopped here for a break to avoid a sudden shower.

Two gentlemen were enjoying liquor or something. Unlike California, even pastry shops often serve alcohol including hard liquor.

Dois cafe cheio e uma queijada e cheesecake (4 euro+)

I believe that this is Queijada de Laranja (orange cheese pastry). It was very sweet and not much taste of cheese. His cheesecake tastes totally different from one we expected, but delicious. Coffee is always good as well.
