Breakfast: Orange, bolo de chocolate (tastes like muffin), coffee @ 6:30 a.m.Second breakfast: Chouriço omelette, bread & butter @ 9:30 a.m.
We went to one of our regular places, Pirata for lunch. We love this snack-bar serving everything we need such as delicious food & drinks, friendly communication and good price.
Hand writing daily specials (Prato do dia) are usually a good sign for local traditional freshly cooked Portuguese food.He goes with a draft (imperial in Portuguese) and I took a glass of “sparkling wine” (vinho a pressão)My lunch: Bacalhau com natas, a popular salted cod dishHis: Espetadas de frango, skewered grilled chicken with bacon, sausage, pineapple Dessert (sobremesa): Rice budding (arroz doce), Portuguese egg tart (pastel de nata)
Coffee to closed the meal (café cheio). In Portugal, they don’t usually have coffee with dessert but after. Our lunch was 20€ including 2€ tip, which is not mandatory here.
